Senior Design Engineer - Semiconductor

I am currently looking for a Senior Design Engineer to be based in Nijmegen, Netherlands.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The main tasks in this role will be:

Design, simulation and demonstration of new power amplifier concepts to enhance the performance of base station power amplifiers on efficiency, linearity and band-width for future standards like 4.5G and 5G.
Design, simulation and measurement of power amplifiers and drivers for RF base station applications.
Carry out industrial research, enlarging relevant knowledge and bringing in new knowledge.
Pro-actively make knowledge available for operational use, such as to contribute to successful transfers of innovation results to the customer.
Keep abreast of technical developments in the relevant technology and industrial areas through study of literature and technical contacts.

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Required skills:

In depth knowledge and working experience in Doherty PA designs.
At least 3 years of RF design experience.
High efficiency classes of operation (eg class AB, E, F) -
RF IC design (MMICs).
General knowledge on transceiver system design and functional blocks
Power amplifier design, PCB layouting, prototyping, troubleshooting
RF simulation tools like ADS/MWO and 3D EM simulation.
RF equipment and measurement techniques.
Physics of semiconductor devices.
