Senior Decision Support Lead

Join a Global Investment Bank based in London.

Contract Position - £540 - £600 per day - 6 Month Contract.

AS ASENIOR DECISION SUPPORT LEAD (ACCOUNTING, MI DECKS, BILLING, TAXATION) YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:

- Qualified Accountant.
- Experience within Financial services within IT department or IT consultancy company (5 years minimum).
- Experience of producing high quality MI decks to tight deadlines.
- Previous experience of working and servicing global distributed teams and understanding global issues.
- Proven experience in a finance role with in-depth specialisation in billing, taxation or other financial area.
- Strong Stakeholder Management/Relationship Management.
- High level planning and financial management experience.
- Established financial and accounting acumen.

AS A SENIOR DECISION SUPPORT LEAD (ACCOUNTING, MI DECKS, BILLING, TAXATION) YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

Managing the control of the overall direct cost expenditure, customer recharges and other financial processes. Size of overall direct cost base is approximately $65m and customer recharges approximately $135m. They direct and analyse technology related expenses through benchmarking and comparisons, preparation of performance measures, and capacity planning.

Core responsibilities include:

- Control and management of Global IT budgets.
- Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of all IT financial data.
- Governance of all change project budgets and plans.
- Liaising with all IT and business project managers.
- Definition and management of the full year on year budgeting planning process and procedures.
- Definition, test and implementation of the tools to support the finances control and managementto ensuring standardisation.
- Process Improvement & Efficiency
- MI, Metrics & Reporting, development of all key global management financial reports.
- Governance & Standard setting, ensuring alignment to the banks standards and procedures.
- Ad-Hoc/Special Projects as directed by COO/Senior Business Manager
