SENIOR DB2 DBA

This client, a leading global organisation for a Senior DB2 DBA to join their busy team dude to expansion. Working in a customer facing role working with key stakeholders and a key client within financial services.

Working in a team of 6-8, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, monitoring, and performance tuning DB2 for Z/OS environments and the databases running within them. The role involves working in a large and highly complex DB2 SAP Core Banking environment which incorporates the latest and greatest technology.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- DB2 System performance tuning & recovery experience
- MVS System knowledge
- Strong DB2 diagnostics and debugging skills
- DB2 V9 experience
- DB2 data-sharing in a parallel sysplex environment
- Previous experience in allocating work to staff on a 24/7 shift
- Superior communication skills
