SENIOR DATAWAREHOUSING ARCHITECT
Our client, an international bank, is currently looking for an experienced Senior Datawarehousing Architect with strong knowledge of Oracle, PLSQL/SQL, Informatica Powercenter and Shell Scripting.
SCOPE OF WORK:
As architect/data modeler you are implementing highly complex requirements in an existing application as well as positioning it for future growth with the right strategy and design. Assess current design and implementation and provide recommendation for its improvement. Contribute to technical analysis, design and implementation of highly complex components. Help analyze requirements and partially act as an analyst developer.
SKILLS:
- Deep knowledge of DataWarehousing architecture
- Deep knowledge of data modelling - preferably in a DataWarehouse
- Deep knowledge of Oracle, PLSQL/SQL, Informatica Powercenter and Shell Scripting
- Knowledge of Erwin or Powerdesigner (or other modelling tool) would be beneficial
- Prior experience as an Architect in a DWH related role
- Prior experience of implementing complex requirements in a DataWarehouse
- Prior experience of conducting technical reviews and walk-throughs of system designs with other technical staff
- Prior experience of working on consolidating Datawarehouses would be beneficial.
- Prior experience of reviewing existing datawarehouses and presenting your findings clearly would be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills would be required as the candidate would be expected to present his/her ideas clearly to multiple diverse groups of people
