Senior Database Administrator (SQL/Oracle)

Senior Database Administrator is required by one of the first investment management firms based in theUSfor their offices based in central Boston. The role is looking for a DBA with 5+ year's experience, primarily supporting and engineering the production environment with some exposure to project related work. The environment is mixture between Oracle & SQL Server and experience of configuring and maintaining a high availability environment is a necessity for the role with knowledge of Clustering, Mirroring, Replication, Oracle RAC or Log-shipping a must. The environment also offers the challenge of supporting high volumes of server with database's containing Terabytes (TB) of data. The role will involve supporting and maintaining environments with critical trading systems so providing high class coding and performance tuning skills is a must.
