Senior Data Programmer (m/f)

MY DUTIES:

-Pick up development topics in the area data ingestion, aggregation, and provisioning
-Understand and ensure quality in automated data processing
-Responsible for optimization and further development of the existing data interfaces and data models in close alignment with the product development plans and the analytical requirements
-Help to build-up in-depth knowledge in developing production ready, scalable data architecture and routines
-Establish a close relationship with the Operations Team regarding the analytical databases and support them by pro-actively monitoring the data flow and data integration processes from our clients into the analytical environment as well as the load and performance of the environment

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Profound experience with relational database technologies (Oracles, PostgreSQL)
-Knowledge about data integration, data modelling, and data analysis challenges on big data sets
-Significant experience with the Linux/Unix environment and with scripting languages
-Demonstrated experience working in lean and agile environments
-Client- and service-oriented working and communication style
-Knowledge in the domain of retail data, data science libraries (scikit, pandas, etc), cloud computing and SAS is desirable, but not essential
