Senior Data Center Engineer/Brussels or Hasselt

T4S Solutions are exclusively partnering a multi million pound European player for consultancy and high-tech solutions. We are actively searching for their next champion within their Data Center

Take charge of the daily operational management of the IT Infrastructure of the Data center.
Be responsible for keeping the IT Data center infrastructure up and running, as per the service level agreements
Be responsible for LAN & Security support of the Data center
Manage support tickets (second and third line)
Support security standards for both infrastructure and information
Be responsible to ensure that the standards

Bachelors or Master's Degree in a technology related field (eg Engineering, Computer Software, etc.) or has gained equivalent knowledge by relevant work experience
8+ years of experience in multiple IT areas
Must be able to prove an active experience in the following areas:

Networks (Fire walling, Switching, Routing, load balancing)
AD with integrated Radius and CA
Protocols (IP, OSPF, BGP, VRF, HSRP,FTP, )
Scripting & power Shell
Can prove an active experience in following technologies:

Web services (IIS, Tomcat, Apache, Web Application Server )
Experience with high volume data platforms, appliances, and technologies
Server: Linux, HPUX, Solaris
Knowledge of SAN Storage (EMC VMAX/VPLEX), NAS and Dedicated Storage Platforms
Cluster solutions based on OS mentioned above
Windows
Citrix
Fundamental understanding of IT processes and operational procedures.
Familiar with native and third party OS tools for performance, monitoring and capacity analysis.
Mandatory: English + French or Dutch
