SENIOR DATA ANALYST
POSITION GOALS:
In the role of a data analyst the candidate takes on a key role in this project, which is part of a strategic data integration program. The goal of the project is to take the company's data management practice to the next level by making key data aspects transparent and manageable and also by implementing solutions to prioritized issues. The candidate must perform complex analysis tasks and discuss and share the results with various stakeholders. The candidate has a self-starter attitude and can perform end-to-end data analyses (extraction, analysis, reporting). He/she interacts professionally with stakeholders on all levels.
MAIN TASKS/ACTIVITIES:
- establish the link between the business analysts of the project and systems/data
- data extraction from data warehouses, the master data management platform and other systems
- analysis of data on the company's key business entities (clients, contracts, risks, )
- analysis of data on the company's steering dimensions (portfolios, lines of business, )
- establish transparency on data quality aspects (consistency, completeness, )
- report and visualize results in suitable formats to business and IT stakeholders
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- proficient in SQL and its use in data warehousing and master data management contexts
- ideally experience with the Master Data Management solution EBX5 XLS and VBA
- understanding of physical and conceptual data models
- data visualization and Business Intelligence skills
- able to handle ambiguity and conflicting information
- relevant experience with similar task in a complex organization
