Senior Credit Controller

A Senior Credit Controller is required to work for a leading Insurance company based in London City for a period of 6 months. This role has arisen due to the company going through a rapid growth period, the Credit Manager is going to become increasingly involved with a number of projects and therefore you will be responsible for assisting with the business as usual during this period of transformation.
Working in a team of 5 you will take responsibility for the collection of premiums and production of credit control reports for the group of companies. On a day to day basis you will assist with overseeing the credit control function but will not be directly supervising staff. Duties will include:

Chasing all premiums
Supplying up to date chasing notes on all unpaid/part paid/overpaid debt and queried
Monitor and report upon overdue premiums
Cash Allocation of direct payments and any premiums that appear on the unapplied receipt register
Managing queries from both underwriting staff and brokers
To monitor EPI against signed premiums and liaise with the operations team to ensure the relevant premiums adjustments are made.
Complete regular reports as required for various internal deadline/meeting
Provision of any other ad-hoc reports as may be requested

It is essential that you have experience working in the London Insurance market previously, candidates without this experience will not be considered. A proven track record managing complex credit control queries and troubleshooting reports is essential. This is a hands on role and it is essential you have strong Excel skills and a proactive attitude is key. This role is to start ASAP and therefore you must be immediately available in order to be considered.
