Senior CQ5 Developer - New York - Contract - Up to $600/day

Our Client, a Major Digital Firm, are currently looking for a Senior Adobe CQ5 Developer to join their rapidly expanding web content management team. This person will play a critical role in driving the strategy, architecture, design and implementation of Adobe CQ5 initiatives.

The position will involve:

- Leading large scale Adobe CQ5 implementation projects
- Prepare detailed technical design for various templates, components as well as services layer
- Effectively communicate architecture and design to the development team
- Direct technical teams in developing solutions Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems through in-depth evaluation of variable factors
- Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals
- Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments

Required Skills:

- Minimum 3 years of hands on hands on experience implementing Adobe CQ5
- Minimum 5 years of experience in design, develop and support of large scale web application development,
- Experience with Java development
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX
- Experience with RESTful web services
- Experience with any of the following is a plus: Search & Promote, SiteCatalyst, Test&Target, Scene 7, Akamai,
