Senior CPE/Home-Gateway Test Engineer, Belgium
A large ISP based in Belgium have an immediate requirement for a Senior CPE/Home-Gateway Test Engineer to join the in-home team.
The in-home team are responsible for the home gateway (customer premises equipment/CPE) which contains cable modems (Docis), Router and Wifi functionality.
We are searching for a CPE test engineer with around 5 years experience, the CPE engineer will have knowledge of setting up test processes and test scenarios and have Wifi test experience.
The CPE test engineer will have strong knowledge of RF and one of the following is desired Nemo, RFDM, LTE, OFDM modulation, RF Propagation, Bluetooth, Zigbee.
Finally the CPE Test engineer will need experience with WIFI roaming/authentication and basic knowledge of routing and switching concepts/protocols.
Essentials Skill overview:
- Experienced CPE tester (minimum 5 years experience)
- Experience in setting up test processes and test scenario
- Experience in WIFI testing
- Strong RF knowledge
- Experience in one of the following is a clear plus : Nemo, RFDM, LTE, OFDM modulation, RF Propagation, Bluetooth, Zigbee
- WIFI roaming/authentication
- Knowledge of basic routing and switching concepts and protocols (the HGW embeds a small in-home Router)
- English is a MUST, Dutch is nice to have
