Senior Insurance Compliance Analyst - £300-450 Per Day - ASAP - London - Contract

My client is a leading global insurance organisation in need of a talented Senior Insurance Compliance Analyst.

The Senior Insurance Compliance Analyst shall be responsible for supporting and assisting the management of compliance monitoring processes, procedures and documentation in order to meet regulatory obligations and policies of the Investments company in London and Dublin.

Senior Insurance Compliance Analyst Main Responsibilities:

* Perform compliance monitoring, analysis and reporting using manual and system records including detailed trading activity, trade records, best execution, allocations and other FCA conduct of business rules
* Key operator of the PTA database which manages PA dealing, gifts and entertainment, outside business activities and other certifications
* Assist with preparation and coordination of documents for Risk, SOX, Audit, Federal Reserve, AMG US and FCA reviews.
* Coordination of policy documents and maintenance of procedures and recordkeeping in the public and other drives or locations.
* Investigation and recording of breaches and errors and assisting in identifying corrective action needed plus follow up to close issues
* Assist with Anti-money laundering and terrorist financing checks using the Accuity system
* Coordinate compliance aspects of starter and leaver processes emails, including detailed spreadsheet maintenance and FCA online notifications for Approved Persons
* Assist with the collection and collation information for completion of management information and board reports
* Assist with the maintenance and creation of computer-based documents and records in Bloomberg and relevant Microsoft packages.
* Ad-hoc assignments
* Contribute to the encouragement of a positive risk based compliance culture

Senior Insurance Compliance Analyst Requirements:
* 3 years relevant compliance experience within financial services regulated environment
* Strong communication skills and able to liaise with internal parties (locally and globally) and with external parties (solicitors, regulators, auditors)
* Knowledge of security types and trading processes
* Ability to interrogate systems to obtain information and run report
* Organised, enthusiastic and ambitious
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Internet applications
* Flexible and proactive with ability to work on own initiative
* Team player
