Senior Communications Specialist (C8)

Finite's influential government client is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST to join their team beginning 1 July 2013 for an initial period of 12 months.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO:

- design, manage and support the client's network environment to ensure high availability, performance and capacity video, voice and data communications are available to the agency;
- provide technical expertise to project teams and management on an as required basis;
- in conjunction with other team members, provide assistance to overseas Posts for problem resolution;
- in conjunction with other team members, travel to overseas Posts as required for regular maintenance visits;
- liaise with third party service providers to ensure the client is receiving quality service through selective sourced contracts;
- participate in the agency's change management process by contributing technical changes to the Change Advisory Board for consideration;
- provide 2nd and 3rd level Service Desk support as required; and
- Provide technical advice to other ISB staff and participate in skills transfer as required and mentor junior staff.

CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS A CURRENT SECURITY CLEARANCE OF AT LEAST NV1 (SECRET).
