Senior Commercial Manager - 4 Month Contract - Crawley - Negotiable Rates

Senior Commercial Manager required to support and develop the aims and objectives of a clients commercial function.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:-

-Serve as a focal point of contact for customers regarding contractual matters by establishing good customer relationship and communications
-Proactive participation in business winning Bid Teams.
-Generating the Commercial Response in accordance with the agreed strategy and customer requirement.
-Assisting Bid Managers to generate Proposal documentation (statement of work, Risk Register and Executive Summary)
-Undertaking a commercial Review of the full suite of proposal documents.
-Support the development and implementation of the negotiation strategy, including payment profiles and associated terms to meet the cash flow requirements.

Essential Skills and Experience:-

-Detailed working knowledge of defence contracting (MOD/export contracting)
-Proven track record on successful commercial proposals preparation and negotiation.
-Drafting and negotiation of complex contracts and agreements.
-Comprehensive understanding of commercial risks and issues.
-Strong communication skills.
-Ability to identify and implement change.
-Passionate, energetic driven and goal orientated.
