Senior Citrix Engineer

SUMMARY:

- Seeking a senior Citrix engineer that can come in and help deploy and manage new project use cases.
- Candidate will work hand-in-hand with team lead hitting the ground running on day one.
- Must have recent production environment experience with Citrix technologies, preferably in larger enterprise environments.

SKILLS:

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- XenDesktop 7.x, 7.5 or higher preferred
- Thorough understanding of MCS and PVS and the pros and cons of both.
- Working knowledge of how to deploy master images in both MCS and PVS
- VMware knowledge of working with snapshots and how it pertains to Citrix
- How to update VMware tools in both PVS and MCS images
- Knowing how to maximize fewer catalogs for more delivery groups.
- Historical Citrix terminal server knowledge (knowing the basics)
- MCS and PVS, MCS is preferred currently based on environment.
- XenApp experience is also preferred.
- Experience with NetScaler preferred.
- Familiar with hypervisor technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
- Production environment with 4,000+ users, maximum up-time required
