Senior Charles River Business Analyst

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Deliver requirements from funds and portfolio managers, needs to be successful in communicating with stakeholders and manage their expectations.
- Currently working on strategic projects - implementing a market standard set up as an asset manager so looking for a resource to support them.
- Anything else that falls within the realms of change management within Asset management.
- Close knit role with the business so person needs to be good communicating with the business and liaise with the IT.
- The ability to understand and deliver the requirements for fund managers in regards to trading.
- The ability to understand and deliver the requirements of the Wealth Management/Private Bank execution trading desk.
- Working on a strategic project, delivering an asset management market standard buy-side trading platform.
- Change Management Team that delivers Charles River vendor platform to asset management business.

IDEAL PROFILE

- Ideal Profile
- 5 years of experience as a Charles River Business Analyst on the trading side
- Should have vast knowledge of equities, FX Derivates, Mutual funds and FX
- Should have Charles river experience v9 with large asset manager bank, with multiple location set up.
- Strong communicator who can comfortably operate amongst all stakeholders, able to negotiate with stakeholders and manage expectations.
- Needs to understand fixed protocol, fund manager and traders roles and how their flows work from end to end.
- Sound knowledge of the workbench, queries etc.
- Solid knowledge of the following:
- Manager WorkBench
- Models
- Blotters
- Workflow Monitor
- Queries
- Understanding the business from both PM and Traders perspective.
- FIX protocol know-how
- Understand OMGEO post-trade workflows,
- Securities know-how:
- Equity
- Fixed Income
- Derivatives
- Mutual Funds
- FX
- Dealing directly with Portfolio Managers and Traders.
- Understanding the full life cycle (Trading Workflow end to end).
- Needs to understand fixed protocol, fund manager and traders roles and how their flows work from end to end.
- Business Analyzes and problem solving.
- Ability to think outside the box.
- Nice to have: Oracle SQL
- Fluency in English, good German skills is an advantage
