Voor een eindklant van Harvey Nash in Amsterdam ben ik op zoek naar een Senior Change Manager.

Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job

Guide change for high impact transformations, projects and transitions.

Support, coach and influence executive level stakeholders.

Manage teams of change management experts.

Collaborate effectively with global project and transformation teams.

Further build the AkzoNobel change management capability and team.

Responsibilities

Develop the Change Management & Communication strategy, approach and planning for high impact projects and transformations.

Deploy above strategy, approach and plan through relevant change management and communication initiatives, including rolling out the project communication plan, developing and delivering workshops and training etc.

Deliver above large and complex projects on time and budget for all related change management work.

Ensure Stakeholder Management, incl. preparing stakeholder weekly/monthly meetings, setting up and guiding a network of change agents.

Support local/country deployments by coaching the local teams and developing and sharing relevant change management Leading change workshops.

Align change management & communications with relevant other initiatives including our Transformation Office.

Support ExCo and Executive Leadership Team members on change messaging.

Further build the AkzoNobel change management capability and global team by further developing our methodology and tools, sharing best practices and coaching more junior team members and interns.

Level of Autonomy

Decisions on change management strategy, approach, team, budgets etc for his/her projects.

Decisions on escalating (potential) issues and barriers to change to executive level stakeholders and working the solution with them.

Examples

High impact programs see a need for change management, but underestimate the risks of not doing change management properly and do not allocate enough budget for proper change management. As a change manager you have to come up with the strategy, risks, issues, plan and resources to adequately manage change and convince the program stakeholders to put in place a fit for purpose team.

Job Requirements.

Qualifications/education and experience.

Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Organizational behavior, Business Management, or other degree with relevant OCM and transformational leadership experience.

Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.

At least 10 years relevant work experience, of which at least 5 years in a change management or major transformation leadership positions.

Geographical experience in at least 3 regions and/or 10 or more different locations/countries.

Strong Preference of having business experiences in other business functions, like Financial, HR, or IT.

Proven track record of delivering large and complex projects on time and on budget.

Management/general skills.

Strong project and change management skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Sensitive to a diverse and multi-cultural environment.

Strong people management skills.

Result oriented.

Very high level of business acumen, and comfortable dealing with complex issues from senior stakeholders.

Knowledge and ability to develop an organizational strategy.

Ability to mentor, influence, and coach at an executive level.

Functional skills .

Business Performance improvement , analyses and measurement.

Data Mgt/Tools & Systems.

Formal OCM methodologies.

Preference for PM certification (either Prince II or PMI).

Specific and Key Behavior skills.

Preference for experience in Six Sigma or Lean programs.

Proven Knowledge and Experience in shared services, BPO, and/or management consulting disciplines.
