Senior C#.Net Developer at Major Investment Bank in NYC

My client, a major investment bank located in Jersey City, is looking for a Senior C#.Net developer to join their Desktop Application Development group. They need to move urgently on this. Candidates must have recent Financial Experience Rate: negotiable Type: C2C or W2 Location: Jersey City Length: 18 months The group has 3 applications that they're responsible for: one is a desktop OMS application written in C#.Net with SQL Server on the Backend. It also uses Tibco and MQ for messaging. The other is a Web version of the same OMS. The final application they use is a Realtime PNL App that uses excel on the front end and SQL Server and .Net on the back. Required Skill Set: -C# -ASP.NET -Javascript -SQL Server Database -Experience in Financial services -Experience with either Web and Windows Forms development -Strong OOP skills -XML -Web Services -Strong analytical skills -Strong communication skills -Good team player Nice to have: - VB.Net - Multithreading - WPF - WCF-Experience with Excel VBA/VSTO Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -Support the existing desktop and Web based applications and processes as well as develop new ones -Interact with the various business and IT teams to gather requirements -Document business processes and flows -Oversee the implementation of the new flows, processes and applications from inception to completion -Participate in all user acceptance testing A candidate for this position must be able to work in a varied, fast paced environment, be a team player and willing to teach and to learn.
