Our global client based here in Zurich is looking a:

SENIOR BUSINESS/TECHNICAL ANALYST OTC DERIVATIVES - iET job ref. # 2392

The Job:

- An interesting role to liaise with business and technical team members in order to determine the solutions to business needs
- A role which will focus especially on interfaces between various applications
- Develop functional specifications, presentations and documents according to requirements from business and project.
- Responsibility to analyse, design, test and support the implementation of technical solutions that address the changing functional requirements of the IRD's and FX options business on a middle-Back Office area.
- The possibility to work in a dynamic environment within investment banking middle- and back- office
- Analysis, incident resolution and consulting tasks

We are looking for candidates with:

- Degree in Information Technology and/or Business Economics or equivalent
- Very good technical and functional understanding about interface technologies and interactions within a broader situation
- PROFICIENT IN REQUIREMENTS ENGINEERING AND DATAMODELLING
- Several years experience in a similar role within a large financial institution in a trading/Back Office environment
- Drive, pro-active work approach and good communication skills
- IDEALLY SOLID KNOWLEDGE OF TREASURY BACK OFFICE PROCESSING, FOCUSING ON OTC DERIVATIVES FOR FX AND PM PRODUCTS AS WELL AS FOR IRD'S.
- Computer literacy and an interest in technical innovations (knowledge of XML (FPML) and SQL is a plus)
- Good communication skills in English, German would be an additional advantage
