This role is to provide technical and analytical expertise in the analysis, design and release of project delivery driven business solutions, with a strong focus on business system functionality. This requires the flexibility to develop business solutions on the Murex trading platform.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work closely with business analysts, trading, sales  and support staff, credit, financial control, risk managements, compliance and operations staff to understand business requirements and create functional and technical requirements
- Produce high quality technical analysis covering complex data, complex data mapping, and process mapping
- Contribute to technical design and implementation of the interfaces required by all applications in the portfolio
- Produce functional and technical design for system development, as well as testing plans

YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Significant exposure to financial markets environments and products; specifically Commodities (essential)
- Solid, recent experience of Murex (essential)
- Ability to engage directly with Front Office staff (Traders, Quants, Managers)
- Business and functional requirements specification skills
- Experience working on technology enabled change programmes/projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid stakeholder management skills
- Flexible and capable of developing with different technologies
