Are you a SENIOR BUSINESS & SYSTEMS ANALYST with prior experience to provide business and systems analysis services for ITS (Information Technology Services) front door requests and major projects which includes developing:

- Scoping document
- Business cases
- Functional specifications
- High level solution and system design for new & existing systems, by liaising with a range of people including users and senior managers?

Our client is currently seeking a SENIOR BUSINESS & SYSTEMS ANALYST who can work closely with the ITS project teams to ensure that requirements are well understood, solutions tested, technical issues recorded and tracked, changes implemented and business objectives met, for a contract till the end of June 2013 (with options for extensions) based in Canberra.

To be considered under this SENIOR BUSINESS & SYSTEMS ANALYST role the applicants needs to possess the following skill sets:

- Extensive experience working as a Business and/or Systems Analyst in medium to large scale environment, including the ability to:
- Produce sound business cases.
- Prepare business, user and functional requirements and specifications.
- Prepare high level solution and systems designs - Extensive experience with project methodology and IT systems life cycles.
- Demonstrated experience and highly developed skills in data, business, and functional analysis, Datamodelling, process mapping, designing and writing specification of business systems.
- Demonstrated experience in producing high quality business cases.
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills, including instructional and formal presentation experience.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical advice to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable:

- Demonstrated experience in the following areas:
- SharePoint (MOSS) 2007/2010/2013
- MS Dynamics CRM 2011
- user training - both one to one and large groups

Please note a BASELINE/Protected VETTING security clearance is required for this position.
