Senior Business Release and QA Manager (Ref #: 99889)

Senior Business release and QA Manager required by Whitehall Resources for an initial 2 month contract which is to be based in Sweden for a major change programme in the Retail Sector

Statement of Assignment/Tasks:
The scope of the consultant services is to assist our customer in a cost efficient and agile manner, secure delivery of new functionality to our customer's website, with high level of quality.

The main tasks in the assignment will be:

- Plan and order major IRW Release based on commercial, communication calendar and business needs;
- Inform stakeholders (web meetings and document sharing) of ongoing and coming releases, such as scope, timings and end-user instructions/copy;
- Participate and lead various gate keeping and decision -meetings with IT Delivery and their sourcing partners;
- Uphold/improve release process;
- Monitor and answer incoming mails to release mailbox;
- Monitor and answer incoming threads on Yammer (cooperate social tool);
- Secure BAT resources for business changes;
- Manage BAT team;
- Perform BAT;
- Uphold/improve BAT process;
- Handle escalations/change and stakeholder - management;

The consultant shall have the following profile:

Knowledge:
- Project management
- Agile ways of working
- Test process and test execution
- Fluent in English (writing and vocal).
- Well familiar with MS Office

Experience in:
- Analytical and structured
- Capable of seeing the big picture, as well as ability to investigate details
- Leader and self-going
- Drive and commitment
- Excellent communication and people skills and a strong team player
