INTRODUCTION:

For one of our clients in Basel we are looking for a Senior Business/Project Analyst with primary focus on migration management duties and secondary focus on solution engineering/application analysis for Migration & Consolidation Projects.

ROLE:

Primary focus on migration management: 

- Coordinate pool of application migration. 
- Manage team of application analysts. 
- Identify risks (operational and compliance) around the proposed migration and ensure identified risks are logged, followed up, and closed in a timely manner. 
- Focuses on ensuring migrations are taking according to agreed schedules. 
- Stay in touch with the restrictions for changes set by the business-related conditions and the technical framework.

Secondary focus on solution engineering and application analysis: 

- Responsible for engineering application migration solutions. 
- Verifies and documents As-Is Components with support from Application Owners or Service Owners. 
- Defines Move Approach per Component based on Solution Architect inputs. 
- Defines To-Be Components with support from Solution Architects. 
- Documents Special Requirements with support from Solution Architects. 
- Reviews and fixes move dates based on availability/constrains of Applications Owners and Vendor Delivery Teams. 
- Creates Application Move Map (AMM) - Application Design Document - and obtains necessary sign-offs. 
- Creates Application Move Specification List and Technical Specification List with support from Solution Architects. 
- Define Application Cutover Plans (ACPs) and obtains necessary sign-offs.

REQUIREMENTS:

MUST-HAVE
- Several years of experience as a Application Analyst, preferably in a similar role
- Experience with MS Office Tools and MS SharePoint
- SOX and GxP knowledge
- Team work in a challenging IT environment
- Ability to work in an international as well as multicultural environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility and experience in prioritizing tasks
- Ability to deal with variable workload

LANGUAGE:

- Fluent in English - oral and written 
- German desirable
