Senior Business Program Architect Banking

Edelway is a Swiss IT services company. We are currently looking for a "Business Program Architect" for our major Banking client in Zurich.

YOUR ROLE:
*As a key member of the CFO/COO organisation, you will play a vital role in driving the alignment of business strategy to the operational and IT design (and associated process, models and road maps to achieve tactical and strategic delivery).
*You will have strong stakeholder management involvement and must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders, at all levels, throughout the group.
*As part of the wider Portfolio Management group you will have the opportunity to make a difference and help drive transformational change throughout the organisation by being involved with high calibre, high profile programs and senior stakeholders.
*Deliver objective architectural recommendations and follow-on actions to senior Change Leads and Program Managers
*On the basis of considerable delivery experience, provide pragmatic and constructive feedback;
challenge program Practices, assumptions and forecasts when necessary, business models, service design, processes, systems & infrastructure and the development approach: design, delivery and implementation
*Continuously improve the Banks delivery capabilities and assurance standards.
*Lead architecture workshops and focus groups for senior stakeholders

YOUR PROFILE:
*Proven track record of 10+ years of demonstrable solution architect experience in financial services.
*Broad business architecture knowledge that encompasses business models, service design, processes, systems & infrastructure
*Bachelor level Degree or equivalent in numerical based discipline (eg Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics etc.) or equivalent
*A hands-on practitioner with a successful track record of leading and delivering large, complex change programs encompassing business and technology change.
*Experience in modelling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques and an appreciation of how to develop a robust pragmatic architecture.
*Strong relationship building skills with the ability to act in a leadership position and to interact efficiently with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels with the organisation.
*Excellent relationship, interpersonal and organisational skills with a highly client focused attitude/approach, and the ability to build strong and lasting relationships.
*Ability to visualise and create high-level operating models and other representations which present different views of the business at varying levels of detail and can be adjusted as required for complex scenarios
*Ability to translate business level information through to technical/development teams & personnel (both internal & external) - using architecture frameworks and models
*Ability to design and develop road maps and target operating models
*Fluent English, written and spoken
