Senior Business Analyst [windows 10+ Project]

Randstad Professionals in Zurich is actively looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their pharmaceutical client in the area of Basel, Switzerland. The jobholder will start ASAP until 30.06.2016. An extension of the role past these phases desired if candidate is a good fit.
The jobholder will elicit and validate the requirements for the Windows 10+ Project.
The candidate will work together closely with all project workstreams, the solution owner, regions and business functions to elicit and validate the project and solution requirements. They will report to the Windows 10+ project manager.

My client is launching the project for the global Windows 10 migration and is seeking support for the project initiation and define phase. Extension of the role past these phases desired if candidate is a good fit.

The following items will be upgraded:
. Windows 7 to Windows 10
. Internet Explorer 10 to Internet Explorer 11
. Microsoft Office 2010 to Microsoft Office 2016

Tasks & Responsibilities:
. Own the task of requirements collection, documentation and validation and guide the project team
members to get to a good set of requirements
. Organizational Change Management (OCM) and Migration Coordination: Work closely together with the project's OCM Expert to identify the stakeholders, validate the migration approach with the sites and business stakeholders, and document requirements for communication and training
. Platform Provisioning: Engineer Requirements for Windows 10 image and Internet Explorer 11 package (incl. upgrade requirements)
. Application Readiness: Requirements for application readiness testing
. Elicit and validate requirements for IT Quality, Legal, Security etc.
. Facilitate workshops and conduct interviews
. Obtain buy-in from all affected stakeholders for the respective requirements
. Facilitate sign-off process
. Ensure the requirements are properly cascaded and understood by the respective workstreams
. Ensure requirements are implemented according to the requirements specifications
. If candidate proves to be a good fit during the analysis phase, role can be extended to include test management.

Qualifications:
. University degree in IT preferred
. 5 years of relevant experience in multinational company
. Candidate must be able to work with requirements for engineering (Win10 Image, IE11 Software Package) as well as organizational requirements (requirements for Migration Strategy, Service Introduction etc.)
. Former pharmaceutical experience (ideally having worked together with one or more business functions and IT in the past)
. Strong negotiation skills and proven track record in getting to decisions/sign-offs
. Experience in workshop facilitation
. Track record of business analysis activities successfully on projects
. Structured approach, problem-solving, flexible and self-directed with analytical skills
. Excellent English language skills, additional languages a plus
. Experience in desktop migration projects a plus
. Desired: CSV background and experience in working with IT Quality

Additional information about this role:
-Working language is English. High proficiency in working virtually is a must.
-Remote work an option up to 20%, prior approval required. Some travel (mostly to Madrid, possibly San Francisco) will be required.
-Candidate must be available to attend workshop Nov 23 - 25 in Madrid.
