Senior Business Analyst (SAP) (Q1)

A new long term contract opportunity is available for a Senior Business Analyst (SAP) to join this large scale Queensland Government Department based in inner CBD.

the Senior Business Analyst will be required to join an existing project to support the ERP Program by fully documenting the future-state business processes and by assisting business areas in the documenting detailed work instructions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST WILL BE AS REQUIRED;

- Conduct analysis to identify potential business risks and impacts so that process mapping can be prioritised, scheduled, assigned, undertaken and delivered in a timely way;
- Consult, liaise and participate with project team members, clients, stakeholders and users to fully document To-Be business processes;
- Work closely with business stakeholders and users to document (or assist them in documenting) detailed work instructions;
- Comply with relevant program and project methodologies, including the use of Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) for process mapping;
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure that products and deliverables meet agreed standards and are readily accessible across the program;
- Work closely with Dependent teams, including Organizational Change to ensure that deliverables are suited to downstream uses, such as user education sessions and training;
- Ensure that business impacts are identified, appropriately documented and referred to relevant teams;
- Assist in user information or education sessions where required; and
- Comply with adopted program and project management methodologies and practices.

Reports to the ERP6 Project Manager

TO BE SUCCESSFUL  FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING KEY EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES;

- Substantial experience and/or certification in business analysis and process mapping
- Experience in analysis and mapping Asset Maintenance processes
- Strong knowledge of Asset Maintenance business processes
- Experience and/or certification in Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN)
- High level interpersonal skills
- High level written communication skills
- High level analytical skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Good facilitation skills
