Senior Business Analyst - Markets/Treasury

Fantastic and rare opportunity to Join a small agile team that plays a key role bringing the voice of the business and customer by managing the analysis and requirements gathering activities. The team supports a number of key in-house developed applications.

This is the role that bridges business requirements from Sales, Product, Operations, Risk and Finance into the delivery team of 15 developers and testers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with subject matter experts to understand business processes, procedures and user requirements in order to establish required system stories and features. Assess capability gaps, propose solution approaches and facilitate agreement
- Work with developers and testers on the team to ensure requirements are understood to a level that allows them to be implemented and verified
- Be proactive in uncovering risk, business value and business priority
- Be an active participant in regular task elaboration, prioritisation and estimation workshops
- Manage Acceptance Testing
- Support business teams

KEY REQUIREMENTS

- 5+ years experience in business analysts roles associated with system implementation projects - especially bespoke systems implementation.
- Knowledge of Markets/Treasury products (Interest Rate Derivatives, Term Lending)
- Experience with requirements gathering as part of a team using agile development methods, ie. User Stories.
- Confident working through various aspects of technology solutions (eg. user interfaces, databases, system integration) and dealing with technology specialists
- Solid understanding and experience in business process analysis, as-is and to be process design, process decomposition. Able to apply varying techniques to model and communicate
