Senior Business Analyst

SUMMARY
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst on the Point of Sales System Team. This position will be responsible for the requirement analysis, design review and integrated testing of features that impact store system software in over 14,000+ US restaurants. This individual will work with various stakeholders in US Operations, QA, Support, Deployment, Legal, Security, Treasury, development teams and infrastructure teams to ensure our requirements are well thought out, well defined, and successfully implemented.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Planning, facilitation and follow up for key stakeholder meetings around feature/functionality.
Leading and driving out requirements, use case scenarios, impact assessments and cost/benefit analysis working with key stakeholders.
Working closely with US IT software teams to validate features through design reviews, testing.
Providing day-to-day coaching and mentoring of other Business Analysts.
Representing the right priority for issues and changes at during defect management and change management processes.
The following are primary objectives for this role. These may be expanded or retracted as determined by the Engagement Manager.
Define the business requirements and creates technology independent process and data models for technology solutions that meet the business needs of a single business area.
Bridge the gap between the business customer and the technology solution providers (ie, vendors, infrastructure team, development team, etc. requires 3-5 years experience in defining requirements and business analytics

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
5+ years IT experience
3+ years as a business, technical or systems analyst

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree - Business or IT with related experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
Demonstrated ability to organize, facilitate, and recap meetings
Experience working in a client-facing role with the ability to build strong relationships
Process mapping, workflow analysis, data modelling, and design tools experience
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to focus on details as well as the big picture
Experience identifying project tasks and providing estimates for those tasks
Basic project management skills
Demonstrated ability to adhere and promote standard business analyst tools, procedures and best practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel and Visio
