Senior Business Analyst

Role: Business Analyst
Location: Sydney
Start: ASAP
Type: 12 months fixed term contract

The role will include:

* Gathering business requirements and assisting with the support and enhancement of enterprise systems for their clients
* Assisting their clients with the configuration of their Practice management, CRM and risk systems and general advice on applying technology to provide for business management and reporting
* Develop detailed specifications for the software development team
* Work with senior executives and subject matter experts within the business to understand and elicit requirements.
* Educate and consult the business about stream lining business processes
* Assist in the development of support material and user guides
* Participate in end-user support and training, liaison between Finance and IT departments and external stakeholders
* Manage members of the team

The ideal applicant will possess the following attributes/skills:

* 5-10 years experience in an IT business analyst role working with enterprise scale applications
* Have managed other Business Analysts
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, IT or equivalent.
* Have worked with enterprise systems, particularly financial systems background such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, SunSystems
* Have worked in a software development environment within a large corporation or global firm, with proven experience working with senior executives and decision makers
* Strong business acumen
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Independent worker and self starter
* Good breadth of system experience
* Organised and attention to detail
