SENIOR AVALOQ ACCOUNTING EXPERT
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a SENIOR AVALOQ ACCOUNTING EXPERT. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Senior IT Accounting Expert for the area Finance and Enterprise DWH
- Incident management and 3rd level support
- Effort estimation, technical specification, development and documentation in the area of Avaloq Accounting
- Testing activities during release cycles
- Maintenance of interfaces and 3rd party applications in co-operation with providers
- Business and technical end user consulting
The skills and experience needed for this position are:
- Experience of IT Accounting function and processes
- Experience with Avaloq paramerisation
- Professional experience in the banking industry
- Avaloq booking, balancing and position rules parameterisation
- Avaloq Scripting
- Expert knowledge of the Avaloq data model and reports/task templates
- SQL; PLSQL skills are an advantage
- Familiarity with IFRS and Swiss GAAP accounting rules is an advantage
- Knowledge of Bearingpoint Fire and Bancware applications is an advantage
