QA ENGINEER - CONTRACT
My Client is looking for a QA Engineer to work in a multi-disciplinary team developing a web app. This will be a 6 month contract based in South Dublin.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Working in an agile/lean environment we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
Min 5+ years test/test automation experience testing web-based Java applications
Defining Test Plans and Test Cases, creating Test Reports
Creating, maintaining and executing both automated and manual test suites
Development (automation) of test cases and test-harnesses
Identification and root cause analysis of potential defects
Managing defects through defect management system (JIRA)
Defining and maintaining test metrics
Identifying and communicating product risks
Experience developing UI tests with Selenium Webdriver
Proven experience working in Agile teams
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Excellent analytical and technical problem solving skills
Some Linux & SQL (Oracle preferred)
IT'S A BONUS TO HAVE:
plSQL Scripting experience.
Knowledge of Telecom protocols
Scripting/automation experience with one or more of Bash, Python, Perl, or Groovy
Experience with Atlassian toolset eg JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
BS in Computer Science or equiva
