SENIOR ASSOCIATE needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Thousand Oaks, CA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Will be responsible for HPLC method development
- The candidate will be responsible for HPLC method development, method qualification and sample testing for quantitative analysis of excipients and raw materials in samples containing high concentrations of protein and in in-process samples from bio-pharmaceutical purification processes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Education for this position would typically include a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
- The candidate should typically have Bachelor's Degree and at least three (3) years of relevant laboratory experience including proficient utilization of HPLC, ion chromatography, capillary electrophoresis and sample clean-up techniques.
- Experience in development of analytical methods for excipients and trace quantitation of reagents is required.
- Familiarity with biopharmaceutical and bioanalytical method development would be a plus.
- It is expected that the candidate will have the ability to carry out experiments under minimal supervision using a wide range of chromatographic techniques.
- The candidate should be able to maintain analytical equipment in working order and troubleshoot instrumentation issues.
- The candidate is expected to independently interpret data, draw conclusions, present and write technical reports.
