Senior Architect (Technical/Integration) - Cloud, Infrastructure, Agil

SENIOR ARCHITECT (TECHNICAL/INTEGRATION) - CLOUD, INFRASTRUCTURE, AGILE, TDD - LONDON, £700P/D

We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect/Integration Architect with excellent experience in Cloud, Infrastructure and software development technologies.

The ideal Technical/Integration Architect will come from a development background (Java ideally) but have a wider technology agnostic experience in open source technologies and at least 2 years of Architecture experience, working on large scale Agile projects.

As a Technical/Integration Architect, you must be a strong communicator and not just have an excellent grasp of technology but also have an excellent knowledge of Agile environments (TDD/BDD, Scrum, KanBan, Lean, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, DevOps culture, etc) and leadership/mentoring qualities.

Key skills and experience:

Java (and other open source techs - Scala, Ruby, Groovy, Perl, Python, PHP)

Cloud technologies (various Cloud services/platforms)

Asynchronous messaging
-

NoSQL databases
-

2+ years of Architecture experience (REST, SOA, SOAP)

Ability to be hands on (although role isn't)

Experience working with high volume, large scale web projects

Complex, large IT projects

Team leadership, mentoring and guiding technical teams

Agile and technical transformations - TDD mentoring
