My client is a world-class tertiary education and research institution based in the CBD. Employing over 3000 people and with a student body of 25,000.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Develop and support online application services for students and staff, predominantly online learning activities and research related services.
DUTIES develop work packages for online apolications projects
- Develop technical specs and documentation and apply QA practices
- Test new or upgraded online systems
- Report project progress to stakeholders
- Implement innovative solutions to resolve system problems
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Supporting Online Applications
- Perl, Ruby on Rails and/or Java
- Blackboard LMS advantageous
- Developing & managing Enterprise Applications
- Redhat Linux advantageous
- Data integration advantageous
RATES & TERM
This role is initially a 6 month contract with the likelihood of at least another 6 months probably longer. A mid July start date is preferred. The rate on offer is very competitive.
