Senior Android Developer

The opportunity:

My Client, a leading digital venture fund in Central London, is looking for a Senior Android Developer to join their team ASAP. The successful candidate will be proficient in the below technology, and have a proven track record of building mobile applications.

The position requires a strongly focused and self-driven individual for a 12 month contract.

Must Haves:

- Previous experience working with live video streaming
- Proven experience in designing and developing native mobile user interfaces for Android SDK v. 3.1 or above
- Previous experience of producing good UI Code (MVC, MVVM)
- Extensive experience of working with HTTP, REST (RESTful API), working with JSON and Xml
- Bug Management and Source control systems
- Must be able to provide working examples of app development, demostrate best practices around designing apps and variations that occur between different devices (Cross Platform)
- Strong communication skills
- Self starter

Nice to Haves:

- Some knowledge of media delivery to mobile devices
- Some knowledge of different UI frameworks e.g. iOS, Flash, Sliverlight
- Experience in testing applications (mobile)
-Any experience working on sport based applications

Rate: £370-£390 per day

Location: Central London

Duration: 12 Month Contract
