The Senior Treasury Accountant will be responsible for performing complex and comprehensive treasury operations and accounting functions, including having the ability to take a lead role in various corporate banking and E-commerce activities, including but not limited to analysis of corporate bank statements and other reports; the execution of internal and external funds transfer via fed wire and ACH, and cash forecasting for the company's main health insurance plans and subsidiaries.

TASKS TO INCLUDE:

- Providing first in class treasury operations customer service for the company's internal and external partners.
- Inputting of daily wire and ACH payments for approval including the generation of related supporting documentation.
- Having an understanding of bank payment file transmissions and overseeing the successful completions of bank file transmissions between the company and banks
- Monitoring transactions and capital funding needs to meet compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Building and maintaining strong relationship between Treasury and other departments (eg, accounting, tax, membership, legal, etc.), so related activities are coordinated and information is effectively communicated.
- Performing regular bank statement fee analysis to identify cost savings.
- Managing multiple banking relationships and over 100 bank accounts using best in class services and technologies.
- Participating as Treasury Subject Matter Expert within cross functional teams to support company initiatives.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

Technical Knowledge:

- Cash management processes and/or systems
- E-commerce background, knowledge related to cutting edge payment processes a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office to include, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access

Education

- BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with 4-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and significant work experience with demonstrated accomplishments and expertise
- Demonstrated application of in-depth and complex accounting knowledge
- Background or experience in an investments related field preferred
- Financial Reporting and General Accounting: Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP) for Health Care Service Contractors and Health Maintenance Organizations as promulgated by the NAIC
