An international next-generation information technology organisation are now expanding and seeking experienced Senior .NET Software Developers to join their office in Leiden and Destelbergen (The Netherlands/Belgium) if based in Leiden you will be required to travel to Destelbergen near Ghent 2 days per week.

As a Senior .NET Software Developer you will be required to have strong knowledge of the Microsoft.NET development platform. You will work within a young and dynamic team and can develop talent in a peaceful and stimulating environment.

Profile:

Within the Solutions Development department, you will contribute to the development of enterprise- wide web applications. Your task is to strengthen the team as a Senior .NET Software Developer and to come into contact with both Front End and Back End technologies of the team. You will be part of an agile software delivery team that works on an Agile development methodology and makes daily use of modern engineering practices such as test driven development, pair programming, refactoring, unit testing and continuous integration.

The Challenge:

*Must be able to coach and mentor Junior Developers
*Functional and technical understanding of enterprise software
*Translate functional specifications into technical requirements then implement the product

Experience:

*Must have experience with Enterprise Architecture applications, preferably web applications
*Very good knowledge of the Microsoft.NET platform (at least 6 years of experience)
*Experience with unit testing and TDD. Code quality is very important for you
*You can get along with JavaScript and knows how to distinguish between use libraries or even the right decision to build something
*You must have experience with distributed version control systems
*You work well in a SCRUM team and take the initiative to follow teammates and train
*Experience with continuous integration
*Experience with InstallShield
*Knowledge of CQRS & DDD
*Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL
