Senior .NET Developer Contract

AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY HAS PRESENTED ITSELF FOR A SENIOR .NET DEVELOPER TO WORK A FANTASTIC 6 MONTH CONTRACT FOR ONE OF OUR PRESTIGIOUS CLIENT IN CORK, IRELAND.

As a Senior .NET Developer you will take a very active role on the project team, at both the technical design and code level, and at client and end user interfaces

Responsibilities;

" Requirements Analysis & Application Design

" Providing accurate estimates and timings to project managers

" Daily interaction with clients to facilitate successful project implementation

" Becoming a subject matter expert on client business processes, for example claims pricing and payment, provider networks and group/member structures

" Delivery of application development using standard web development methodologies

" Mentoring other developers within a project team

" Extensive commercial development experience in database design and development including enterprise data warehouse principles

" Software development using Agile methodologies

" Extensive commercial development experience in C# and ASP.NET

" Data Extraction, Transforming and Loading (ETL) between systems using SQL tools (SSIS, DTS, Bulk Insert, BCP, XML) and .NET Applications.

" Excellent knowledge of MS SQL Server including Strong T-SQL (Stored Procedure) skills

" Commercial development experience with SOA and related technologies

" Good level of knowledge/experience of XML/XSLT and XML Schema Web Services, ADO.NET, LINQ

" Experience with .NET 3.x (WCF, WF) and VB 6.0, COM+, ASP and C++
