GALWAY CITY CONTRACT
My Client is one of the world's largest providers of financial services. They are hiring a Senior .NET Engineer on an initial daily rate contract in Galway, Ireland.
You will be joining a dynamic, fast paced team that is constantly looking at opportunities to be innovative, creative and make things better for team members, partners and customers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop and test code to meet application requirements
- Work with Product Owners to review requirements in an iterative manner
- Work with Scrum Master to provide story detail and solution estimates
EDUCATION & TECHNOLOGIES
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics
- 6+ years' experience as a Software Engineer building enterprise-class applications
- Development experience must include:
- Languages: C#, WPF, .NET development (4.0/4.5)
- Application Servers and development tools: Visual Studio
- Frameworks/Protocols: Prism, Design Patterns/Enterprise Architecture
EXPERIENCE OF
- Full project life cycle experience, including requirements gathering, design, development, system test, user acceptance testing
- Experience with Agile delivery principles and practices, preferably Scrum-based, and on agile engineering development practices
- Must be able to work under minimum supervision and be a team player
- Proven customer-facing skills
- Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills
