Senior .NET Developer

SENIOR .NET DEVELOPER

Location: Stockholm, Sweden
Duration: 6 months +

START DATE: 01.07.2014

KEY SKILLS:

- University degree with minimum  4  years' experience in IT OR non-university degree with minimum 6 years' experience in IT;
- Proven experience with system maintenance, further development and refactoring of existing systems.
- Proven knowledge of C# and the .NET framework
- Proven knowledge of ASP.NET
- Proven experience of Front End development using AJAX and jQuery
- Proven knowledge of T-SQL and experience with MS SQL Server 2008R2/2012
- Proven experience in Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), and implementation of SOAP and web services
- Experience with GIS development projects in eg InstantAtlas is advantageous;
- Experience with the following tools is advantageous:
- Visual Studio 2010
- Team Foundation Server
- ASP.NET
- MS SQL Management Studio/MS SQL Profiler
- RedGate SQL Compare and RedGate SQL Data Compare

TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Implement and maintain new and existing systems developed by the section, and based on the .NET framework;
- Maintain the code base and fix bugs as reported in Team Foundation Server;
- Provide third-level support to the ICT Infrastructure section;
- Contribute to the planning and execution of test activities to ensure an acceptable quality.
- Report to the head of the .NET development group.
