Senior .NET Developer

The contracts are with a large consultancy to be on an assignment at a large European site in Stockholm as follows:

The following tasks are foreseen:

- Implement and maintain new and existing systems developed by the section, and based on the .NET framework;
- Maintain the code base and fix bugs as reported in Team Foundation Server;
- Provide third-level support to the ICT Infrastructure section;
- Contribute to the planning and execution of test activities to ensure an acceptable quality.
- Report to the head of the .NET development group.

Education and experience

§ University degree with minimum 4 years' experience in IT OR non-university degree with minimum 6 years' experience in IT;

§ Proven experience with system maintenance, further development and refactoring of existing systems.

§ Proven knowledge of C# and the .NET framework

§ Proven knowledge of ASP.NET

§ Proven experience of Front End development using AJAX and jQuery

§ Proven knowledge of T-SQL and experience with MS SQL Server 2008R2/2012

§ Proven experience in Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), and implementation of SOAP and web services

§ Experience with GIS development projects in eg InstantAtlas is advantageous;

§ Visual Studio 2010

§ Team Foundation Server

§ ASP.NET

§ MS SQL Management Studio/MS SQL Profiler

§ RedGate SQL Compare and RedGate SQL Data Compare
