Security Technology Analyst

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SECURITY TECHNOLOGY ANALYST to join our global manufacturing company in WILMINGTON, DE.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Security technology analyst needed to deliver security research, documentation, recommendations, and solutions to multiple projects within an Information Security Program. Multiple initiatives are planned or progressing across multiple teams in a variety of technology areas (network, storage, identity, endpoint, mobility). This role will work with Security leadership to plan and execute life cycle management of Security Solutions, including the elimination of Legacy solution. The role will publish standard security solutions and assist IT projects in the execution of those processes. IT specialist will review and summarize technical documentation, interface with technical vendor contacts, organize input from technical and security subject matter experts, and create technical documentation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Interact with Security leadership and project teams and resources to drive project objectives.
- Provide excellent communication skills, explain technical concepts in plain language.
- Interact as needed with service providers and vendors, 3rd parties, and alliance partners.
- Research and contribute to IT security projects across different security technology solutions, managing execution across individual active projects within a larger program.
- Create operational support documentation and transition to operations.
- Design and mobilize execution of near term projects in all Security areas.
- Working with subject matter experts, need to be able to organize and document 3 year plan, with common view of products and solutions, life cycle management, capacity planning, and roadmap of initiatives.
- Must work to standardize and communicate solutions out to businesses and user community.
- Initial focus will be on server and network security in support of trade secret protection.
- Expect to work across other technology solution centers (applications, storage, networks, etc.)
- In general, the role is to assist in establishing a security Center of Excellence across multiple. technology/security domains.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS):

- Technical analyst with an IT degree, fluent with current technology, high energy.
- Two to five (2 - 5) years IT industry experience.
- Ability to work in a diverse team environment.
- Strong writing and communication skills, ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively
- Experience creating and presenting documentation and management reports.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
- Familiar with technology across areas - security, network, infrastructure, applications, and mobility.
- Work with technical subject matter experts, vendor partners, and external expert consultants.
- Possess a desire to learn in a variety of areas and provide support to enterprise wide IT solutions and initiatives.
