Security Systems Engineer - My client, a leading telecoms company, are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer with a background in security.

This is a great chance to work on a long term contract being responsible for system monitoring, integration and engineering for a massive and dynamic company.

The role will combine security engineering, automation and application, system engineering, supporting teams around you.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT system engineering, a linux/windows background, operating system configuration, and security experience ideally with IAM exposure

Scope of work includes

- Design and implement an LDAP service (RHEL based) to manage our non-AD connected Unix accounts
- Review design and implement 'Strengthen recovery infrastructure for workstations'
- Review design and implement 'Central log collection for workstations on SEN'
- Review design and implement 'Strengthen Asset Management'
- Design and implement 'SailPoint integration' (AD, LDAP)
- (Review) design and implement a 'Jump host' service (Windows based)
- Assist in the design and implementation of 'cloud on SEN' (secure browsing via cloud browsing service)
- Assistance in RC4, SHA1 usage detection (so it can be disabled without service impact)
- Implement several improvements on 'password management' service (based on Thycotic Secret Server)
