Security Solutions Support

Build, design and support Network Based Security infrastructure to provide security on Mobile devices, laptops, smart phones and mobile handsets. The primary responsibility is to provide network security customer support in a shared environment supporting multiple customers in a Fault Management and Change Management operations support structure for a large number of clientele.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- General architecture, initial configurations and subsequent management of one or more Security Event and Information Management systems
- Provide 7x24 production support to accept, operate, and maintain security elements
- Identify security incidents, provide supporting information to clients, and support the client through containment and remediation during setup and initial phases of project
- Troubleshoot end to end network and application connectivity
- Manage authentication, authorization, and accounting
- Perform intermediary connectivity provisioning, application and network troubleshooting, policy audits, and preventive maintenance on network security elements
- Conduct network risk assessments on all work performed.

Will work a determined shift in a 24/7/365 in an operational support environment. Some substitute rotation during off-shifts, including nights and weekends may be required. The shift will be determined based on the business need and current shift opening. Candidate will need to be flexible with scheduling to accommodate business needs. Shifts may range from 5 day schedules to 3-4 day work weeks.

SKILLS:

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Expert TCP/IP experience
- Security Technology/Experience
- Expert Customer Service
- Unix (Solaris/Linux)
- Bachelors degree in CS/EE or equivalent
- Able to obtain DoD form 254 clearance or Public Trust Clearance

CRITICAL REQUIRED SKILLS WITH AT LEAST 2-4+ YEARS EXPERIENCE:

- Cisco ASA Firewall
- Checkpoint NG (Next Generation) Firewall experience running on Nokia and Sun platforms

CRITICAL SKILL REQUIRED WITH AT LEAST 4+ YEARS EXPERIENCE:

- Cisco Router configuration and troubleshooting experience.
- Unix entry level experience.

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Fortinet Firewall
- Blue Coat Proxy
- Juniper Netscreen Firewall
- Cisco IDS experience
- VPN (Nortel/Cisco)

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED SECURITY RELATED CERTIFICATIONS:

- CISSP
- All Cisco certifications
- Checkpoint CCSA and/or CCSE
- Nokia and SUN Microsystems
