Security Network Engineer

Our client currently requires an experienced Network Security Engineer for a 6 month contract based in Dublin City Centre. This role calls for a Security Engineer with in excess of 5 years experience in a Consultant capacity. Proven experience of managing and maintaining large corporate networks will be essential to your successful completion of this role.

CISA and/or CISSP qualification with a strong background of design, test & implementation of Routers & Switches is essential in addition to the below requirements:
* Strong LAN/WAN technologies experience
* In-depth enterprise Data centre networking skills are ideal.
* Elective skills in Network Security (Firewall, VPN, IDS, IPS, SIEM, Disk Encryption)
* Intrusion detection systems
* Penetration Testing experience
* Ability and experience in communicating and translating IT and business needs into actionable operational solutions.
* Creation of network documentation and customer reports

This role provides a highly competitive day rate for a suitably experienced engineer
