SECURITY GUARD/SECURITY OFFICER

MY CLIENT, A LEADING DEFENCE ORGANISATION BASED IN BOSCOMBE DOWN IS URGENTLY SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED SECURITY OFFICER TO JOIN THEIR TEAM FOR A MINIMUM OF 4 MONTHS. SIA LICENCE AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE OF SECURITY WORK IS ESSENTIAL ALONG WITH A FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE. ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE WILLING TO UNDERGO CLEARANCE.

SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work a rotating twelve hour shift pattern of Days and Nights, (an average 42hrs per week), to include Weekends and Public Holidays.
- Carry out Control of Entry and Pass Checks.
- Assist with Security Lodge clerical duties.
- Carry out Mobile and Foot Patrols.
- Assist in Monitoring CCTV systems.
- Write reports.
- Carry out Speed Checkpoints and Vehicle permit checks.
- (On the Job Training is provided).

MUST HAVE:

- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous Security experience
- Ability to operate IT systems, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
