Security Engineer jobs in Hasselt/Brussels, French/Dutch, network, IT security
The Security Engineer job takes place in Hasselt four days a week, with one day a week in Brussels. Candidates must speak either French or Dutch as well as English.
Please read on if you have the following:
- Profound knowledge of network topology (routing, authentication, authorisation) gained through operational experience
- Fluent English with either French or Dutch
- Knowledge of security products and OS-related security (Windows, UNIX, Linux)
The mission is to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our network. Tasks include monitoring our security structure (according to KPIs), keeping unavailability to a minimum by solving security problems, managing the technical solutions' life cycles (design, release, optimisation, upgrades and removals).
Applicants should have experience in some (not necessarily all) of the following technologies:
PIX and ASA Firewall VPN solutions, ISA Proxy and Firewall, Cisco switching, WiFi, proxies such as Blue Coat NextGen Firewall/UTM solutions (Juniper, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet ), SSL VPN (Cisco/Juniper), URL filtering, anti-virus/anti-spam gateways (Trend Micro, McAfee, Juniper AV), Authentication solutions (VACMAN, MS AD, Radius), threat prevention solutions (HP, Cisco, Juniper), VoIP security essentials (Cisco/Avaya equipment).
