Security Engineer

This role focuses on delivering solutions for various large scale security projects

The selected candidate will be experienced in security design and implementation and have excellent Juniper and Checkpoint Firewall skills!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create detailed design documentation for Firewall and remote access solution implementations
- Install and configure security infrastructure
- Be an escalation point for security related issues and problems
- Monitor service queues and ensuring SLA is met for all service calls, issues and problems
- Generate and execute service improvements
- REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong technical skills especially with Firewalls; Juniper and Checkpoint
- Ability to work in a team
- Previous security design and implementation/solutions experience
- Systems maintenance experience
- Ability to perform systems upgrades
- Cisco, VMware and Solaris skills
- A background in UNIX
- Knowledge of secure Ports
- Good interpersonal skills
