Security Designer
Location: Swindon
Duration: 12 months

Our client is looking for an experienced Security Designer to join their team in Swindon on an initial 12 month contract.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Experience in writing best practice documents on secure designing
- The role requires expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies and the application of secure development standards, specifically OWASP but other deemed appropriate, in the development of both web applications and applications performing a Security Enforcing Function
- Experience directing and instructing designers/developers on best practice for secure designing to protect against web attacks
- The role will also require knowledge of PCI-DSS and it's applicability to application development
- Will provide guidance and best practice to teams on and off shore and will instruct/cajole them to follow it

TASK DESCRIPTION:

To provide guidance and direction to the on-line channel development teams in meeting the security requirements of the programme and to produce documentation and to deliver ad hoc training in support of this. The role is expected to provide advice both in response to specific requests but also on their own initiative, especially in identifying issues and potential improvements. The role will report to the programme security architect.
