Security Consultant

My client is seeking a Security Consultant at an expert level to be responsible for the design, integration and commissioning of network security projects to our client's customers.

The successful applicant will be required to design and integrate HPN and other network projects and be given responsibility for the implementation plans of large and moderate scale opportunities.

They will carry out the design and integration of security solutions from high level design to detailed design, configuration, testing and documentation of Network Security across a variety of platforms specifically around Datacentres.

This is a hands on' position offering a diverse range of technology and solution engagements. It is a role ideally suited for a motivated Network technology individual who enjoys building solutions which are of a high quality resulting in exceptional customer satisfaction.

To be suitable you must have the following:

- Tertiary qualification in a technology and/or business field
- Security consulting expertise
- Security Design experience
- 5+ years working in the Security consulting/integration space
- Experience of delivering into large Enterprise/Corporate Accounts
- Advanced skills in at least two vendor technologies
- Capabilities across HPN and other vendor network products
- Experience in the design/build of enterprise-level Security architecture.
- Some project management experience desirable. Must be able to meet tight deadlines and project budgets.
- Specialisation in advanced technologies (Security, Firewall, DMZ, VPN)
- Experience with other vendor network products (Cisco, Juniper, Checkpoint, Fortinet, RSA, Aventail, Riverbed, F5)
- Experience in broader IT infrastructure (Unix, Win2K etc.)

Technical Skills

- Minimum 7-10 Yrs in the IT Industry
- Specialisation in advanced Security technologies
- Experience with multi-vendor security product to include Cisco and Juniper.
- Significant experience in above Networking products (from features to command line configuration)
- Consulting skills, good communication, presentation and business skills
- Experience in the design/build of enterprise-level Security and wireless architecture.
